HIS Foundation

HIS Foundation provides a hand-up not a hand-out to those in need in the Jackson metro area.  Our goal is that each individual will become self-sufficient with the skills necessary to be reliable employees, positive parents and productive citizens.

We are currently providing the following services :

· Referrals to community partners for emergency services, such as food, clothing and housing.

 

· Individual career development and goal setting.

 

· Resume preparation and business suits for interviews are provided through a partnership with Dress for Success.

 

· Instructional classes on topics such as financial planning and nutrition.

 

· GED classes provided through a partnership with Holmes Community College.
